A limited opportunity for boys teams are available for the 2026 competition.  Please join the waitlist now to be considered.

What are the dates for future Carnivals?

The QISSN Carnival is held during the first week of the June/July school holidays each year. It typically begins on the Sunday following the end of Term 2 and runs through to the Friday.

While this timing aligns with most Queensland school calendars, some schools operate on slightly different term structures — including a few with three-week holiday breaks. For consistency,  We refer to the Brisbane Catholic Education (BCE) calendar when determining dates each year.  Click HERE to check the BCE Term Dates Calendar.   Be sure to check our website for the confirmed dates and latest updates.

The 2026 Carnival will be held at Nissan Arena from Sunday 28th June - Friday 3rd July 2026

Umpiring at QISSN

QISSN is proud to have a strong and dedicated team of umpires who contribute to the high standard of our annual carnival. We are always happy to hear from and encourage umpires who are looking to gain further experience and be part of a supportive officiating environment.

To be eligible, all umpires must hold a current C Badge (or higher) accreditation and have a strong understanding of netball rules. Experience officiating at a competitive level is preferred, along with the ability to demonstrate confidence, consistency, and professionalism on court.

Umpiring at QISSN is a great opportunity to develop your skills, work alongside experienced officials, and contribute to a positive experience for all participating teams.
